Dr. David Hardten is awarded a gold medal from Indian Minister for Health K.C. Veeramani at the Indian Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery symposium held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India on July 6-7. Surgeons from around the globe were honored for their work in developing two novel surgical techniques that involve the implantation of an intraocular lens in an eye which lacks the lens capsule.
