The Dry Eye study at Minnesota Eye Consultants is a publically funded, nation-wide project that examines the use of Omega 3 (a component of fish oil supplements) in treating symptoms related to dryness or irritation. For this project, we are looking for volunteer patients who have dry or irritated eyes to participate in a research study lasting one year. If you qualify, you are given a year’s worth of supplements and required to come in for 5 compensated office visits. Research visits are at no charge to you or your insurance.
