I was nervous to inquiring about eyelid surgery (I had one droopy lid and bags under both eyes). Dr. Melicher was pleasant, friendly and understanding. I scheduled my surgery and just finished up with my 2nd (and last) post appointment. Several years ago, Dr. Melicher removed a small piece of metal from the corner of my husbands eye and later she also did eye lifts on both his eyes. Dr M is compassionate and exudes confidence. She backed that confidence up by assuring us that our son’s Dacryo Cystorhinostomy with general anesthesia would be a simple procedure. Dr Melicher was fabulous with my 8 year old son who had to have eye surgery to correct an eye abnormality he has had since birth. She has a wonderfully calming nature that put him at ease, which is not easy to do with a child looking at having surgery. Dr. Jill Melicher is excellent and I couldn't recommend her enough. I had constant tearing and mucus in my left eye and she recommended a DCR surgery which I had in November 2018. The surgery completely fixed everything and the scarring is minimal and recovery was incredibly easy. She was kind and professional and I am so glad I chose to have surgery with her.Read more
