Please welcome Patrick Schultz, O.D., our 2024-25 Optometric Fellow at Minnesota Eye Consultants. Dr. Schultz grew up in Menasha, WI, and he joins us with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry, where he graduated summa cum laude and received multiple prestigious awards.
During his extensive clinical training, Dr. Schultz gained valuable experience through internships at the Clayton Eye Clinic, Ralph H. Johnson VA Hospital, and The Eye Center, where he managed complex ocular conditions, performed minor surgical procedures, and provided comprehensive eye examinations in high-volume environments. His dedication to patient care is further exemplified by his volunteer work with the Special Olympics Vision Screening program, where he provided free vision screenings to at-risk populations.
Dr. Schutlz’s leadership skills were honed during his tenure as Lead Tech at Fox Cities Eye Clinic, where he managed a team of technicians, created educational materials, and streamlined clinical operations. He has also been actively involved in community service, serving as a coach and mentor for the Special Olympics of Greater Memphis, and participating in the Student Athletes and Academics Committee during his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point.
With certifications in optometry, myopia control, and CPR & AED, Dr. Schultz is well-equipped to deliver high-quality eye care. He played college football and in his spare time, likes trying new and interesting foods, staying active – he recently completed a Tough Mudder, and enjoys doing word puzzles.
Minnesota Eye Consultants is proud to offer patients convenient access to eye care across the Twin Cities. We have 5 locations, each with an onsite ambulatory surgery center (ASC).
