It’s almost here! The 2nd annual Strides 4 Sight 5K Walk/Run and Kids Fun Run is just around the corner – Sunday, Sept. 20th!
Here are the need-to-know details about this amazing fundraising event.
Your participation directly benefits community members in need. Funds raised will be utilized for the Operation Eyesight Program, offering sight saving and restoring procedures to patients who are unable to afford surgery.
Race Check-In opens at 8 AM. Goody Bags and t-shirts will be distributed following the race.
The Kids Fun Run (100 yard dash) will take place at 8:30 AM, allowing you to warm up for the 5K and observe the festivities at the same time. Each participant will receive a Strides 4 Sight honorary ribbon.
The 5K starts at 9 AM sharp! Whether you’re looking forward to running the race, or taking a leisurely stroll around the lake with your friends and family, we’re just thrilled to have you join us. And don’t forget the dogs; we’d hate for Sparky to miss out on his Sunday morning walk!
