Each year, the Minnesota Eye Foundation (a non-profit organization founded by Minnesota Eye Consultants) sets aside two surgical dates to provide eye care procedures to community members in need, who are unable to afford care. We recently completed our 2018 surgical dates on Saturday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 17th. They were once again a huge success, and our team of volunteers and physicians enjoyed taking part in this unique program.
Our favorite part of The Vision Project, like any other procedure day, is getting to know the patients and hearing their stories. We were honored to have the Star Tribune visit us on March 3rd, giving the reporter (Miguel Otárola) and the photographer (Shari Gross) the opportunity to do the same, and experience the excitement and charitable spirits that surround The Vision Project dates. Check out the Star Tribune’s article highlighting The Vision Project!
We would like to once again thank all of our Minnesota Eye Foundation and Strides 4 Sight supporters, as you’re the reason this incredible program occurs each year. We’ve had the opportunity to help even more patients in need, and that’s a direct result of your generosity and support throughout the years.
